RIVERSIDE, Calif. (AP) - Officials say nobody was hurt when a Union Pacific freight train carrying automobiles derailed in Riverside County.

Railroad spokesman Francisco Castillo says six loaded train cars went off the track along a curve in the Mira Loma area around 3:20 a.m. Tuesday.

All the train cars remained upright.

The 53-car train from Arlington, Texas, was entering the Union Pacific rail yard when it derailed.

Castillo says the cause is under investigation.

Metrolink reported delays on its Riverside line due to the derailment.
