GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) - A Greensboro woman has been arrested and charged in the death of her infant daughter last year.

The News & Record of Greensboro reported (https://bit.ly/1ed4HSp) that 24-year-old Tiara Jessica Bonds was arrested late last week and charged with involuntary manslaughter.

Police spokeswoman Susan Danielsen said Bonds is accused of leaving Ayanni Woodward alone in a car while the woman worked as a cook at a restaurant on April 26, 2014.

Danielsen said Bonds reported the child was unresponsive shortly after 11 p.m. Efforts to revive the child were unsuccessful.

It was not clear if Bonds had an attorney to comment on the charge.
