FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) - A Red Feather Lakes man convicted of driving drunk and causing a crash that killed his fiancee has been sentenced to four years in prison.

The Coloradoan reports (https://goo.gl/7EFpss ) 27-year-old Christopher Graham was sentenced Monday for the March 14, 2014, crash northwest of Fort Collins that killed 25-year-old Jane Chrismer. Graham was convicted in March of vehicular homicide, driving under the influence and a series of traffic charges.

Investigators say his blood-alcohol concentration was 0.219 percent - nearly three times the legal limit for driving - three hours after he lost control of his pickup truck on a curve. Defense attorneys say Graham might have been slightly impaired, but he was still able to drive. They also said mechanical issues might have played a role in the crash.
