SOUTH JORDAN, Utah (AP) - Police are trying to determine how a man whose body was found near an Interstate 15 on-ramp died.
The Deseret News reports (https://bit.ly/1HsBY8F ) a motorist saw the body Tuesday morning between a sidewalk and a fenced-off area and called police.
South Jordan police officer Sam Winkler says the death is considered suspicious because of the circumstances surrounding the discovery of the body.
He says the body has been identified as a South Jordan resident in his 50s. The name of the man has not yet been released pending notification of family members.
Winkler says the Utah State Medical Examiner’s Office has conducted a quick inspection of the body at the scene and has found no obvious sign of trauma.
