LANSFORD, Pa. (AP) - Police have issued an arrest warrant for a Pennsylvania man who disappeared while recovering from an attempted murder-suicide.

Police say 37-year-old Levi Zagata of Lansford shot his girlfriend in the chest three times before shooting himself in 2014. Both survived.

Police Sgt. Jack Soberick tells The Morning Call (https://bit.ly/1HphpY6 ) Zagata was recovering at his mother’s apartment in St. Clair. But investigators found it empty when they went to question Zagata.

Soberick says police have information that Zagata may be in the Delmarva Peninsula, which includes all of Delaware and parts of Maryland and Virginia. Zagata has family in Virginia.
