NORMAN, Okla. (AP) - Strong thunderstorms with high winds, heavy rain and possible tornadoes are again moving across Oklahoma.

The National Weather Service issued tornado warnings in south-central and southwestern Oklahoma Tuesday afternoon. A tornado watch is in effect until 9 p.m. for 16 counties in southwestern Oklahoma.

A flash flood warning and flash flood watch is in effect for much of northwestern Oklahoma as heavy rain was falling from the storms.

A storm system that moved into Oklahoma produced tornadoes and heavy rain on May 6 and another round of storms brought tornadoes to the state May 16-17. Three Oklahoma died because of the storms.
