CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - State tourism officials estimate about 575,000 visitors are expected to visit New Hampshire from out of state for Memorial Day weekend, an increase of about 3 percent from a year ago.

The Institute for New Hampshire Studies also estimates visitor spending is expected to be higher, at $91 million, up 2 percent from a year ago.

Most out-of-state visitors will arrive from New England and New York. The number of visitors from Canada is expected to be somewhat higher than last year.
