NEWARK, N.J. (AP) - A fifth teenager has been arrested in connection to the death of a boy killed following a Mother’s Day motorcycle blessing in Newark.

Acting Essex County Prosecutor Carolyn Murray says the teen was arrested Tuesday and charged with weapons offenses in the death of 15-year-old Al-Shakeen Woodson.

Authorities charged 19-year-old Jaqeuce Spinks and a 16-year-old with murder and weapons offenses last week. A 17-year-old and 18-year-old Marquise Cephus were charged on weapons offenses in relation to the shooting.

The Essex County Prosecutor’s Office says the shooting stemmed from a long-running feud between Cephus and the 17-year-old and Spinks and the 16-year-old.

Woodson was an innocent bystander.

The teens are scheduled to make their first court appearances next Wednesday.
