FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) - University of Arkansas women’s pole vaulter Sandi Morris has been named national Athlete of the Week after breaking the collegiate record in the vault.

Morris cleared 15-feet-5.75-inches during the SEC outdoor meet in helping the top-ranked Razorbacks’ women’s team win the conference outdoor team title. It is the second time this season that Morris has broken the collegiate record and this is the third time this season Morris has been named national Athlete of the Week.

The award is presented by the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.
