Domestic violence call stretches into 10-hour standoff

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) - Police have been waiting more than 10 hours for a man barricaded in his San Francisco home to give himself up.

KTVU-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1JAeEFr) officers responded to a report that a man was making threats against his girlfriend in the Sunnydale neighborhood.

She was able to leave the home, but the man stayed and came out onto his balcony during the night to yell at officers.

The street is blocked off in either direction.
