PHOENIX (AP) - A 24-year-old Glendale woman who police said posed as a teenager while having a relationship with a 13-year-old boy has been sentenced to 10 years in prison.

A Maricopa County Superior Court spokeswoman says Judge Warren Granville on Wednesday also sentenced Anna Arreola-Hernandez to lifetime probation.

Court officials said Arreola-Hernandez pleaded guilty April 13 to three counts of attempted child molestation.

Arreola-Hernandez was arrested in March 2014 after the boy’s mother told Glendale police about a relationship between her son and Arreola-Hernandez.

Detectives said Arreola-Hernandez allegedly used several social media and texting apps to contact juveniles and that she often posed as a 15-year-old girl.
