GRANTS PASS, Ore. (AP) - A Josephine County jury has convicted a man in the 2011 ambush killings of his brother and sister-in-law.

The Grants Pass Daily Courier reports (https://bit.ly/1Fp3CA1 ) jurors took only hours to come back with a decision Tuesday in the trial of 62-year-old Gary Goins of El Dorado County, Calif.

Goins was convicted of four counts of aggravated murder and one count of first-degree robbery in the death of his older brother, retired Silicon Valley software executive Dennis Goins, and his sister-in-law, Susan Goins. The same jury will now determine whether Goins should face the death penalty.

Prosecutors say Goins killed the couple after they cut him off financially.
