GRAND CHUTE, Wis. (AP) - A Menards store was locked down while police in Grand Chute negotiated with an armed suspect in the parking lot.

Officers were called to the nearby Walmart store about 8 p.m. Tuesday on a report of a stolen BB gun. Officers found the suspect in the Menards parking lot. A negotiator from the Outagamie County Sheriff’s Department was able to talk to the suspect by phone and a short time later he dropped his knife out of his vehicle and was arrested.
