FORT BRAGG, N.C. (AP) - Fort Bragg is blocking roads on the post to allow a group of motorcyclists to honor active-duty military, veterans and those who died serving their country.

Post officials say more than 260 motorcycles will roar down Bragg Boulevard around 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday as part of “Run for the Wall.” The motorcycles are bound for Washington and the Vietnam War Memorial.

In Fayetteville, riders will continue on Bragg Boulevard to Rowan Street, Green Street and Hay Street en route to the Airborne and Special Operations Museum.

“Run for the Wall” says its mission is to promote healing among all veterans and their families, and to call for an accounting of all prisoners of war and those missing in action. It also honors the memory of those killed in all wars.
