CANYON LAKE: Water murky; 69-73 degrees; 5.96 feet low. Black bass are fair on JDC Skip-N-Pop topwaters and flukes in feeder creeks, and on blue/chartreuse Baby Brush Hogs along deep flats in 10-20 feet. Striped bass are slow. White bass are fair on Road Runners upriver in 5-10 feet. Smallmouth bass are fair on 6-inch smoke/red tubes on jigheads, chartreuse JDC curl tail grubs, and Bleeding Shad Rat-L-Traps along main lake points and ledges in 5-15 feet. Crappie are fair on Curb’s crappie jigs and live minnows around submerged brush piles. Channel catfish are fair on stinkbait and shrimp. Yellow and blue catfish are fair on juglines and trotlines in creeks.
COLEMAN: Water clear; 67-71 degrees; 14.34 feet low. Black bass are fair on soft plastic lizards, spinnerbaits and jerkbaits. Hybrid striper are slow. Crappie are slow. Channel catfish are fair on minnows. Yellow catfish are slow.

NORTHEAST

BONHAM: Water stained, 72-76 degrees; 0.75 feet high. Black bass are good on crankbaits, spinnerbaits and chatterbaits, jigs and soft plastics. Crappie are good on minnows around bridges and backs of creeks. Catfish are excellent on frozen shrimp and cut bait.
BRIDGEPORT: Water stained, 72-75 degrees; 12.41 feet low. Black bass are slow on black buzzbaits and bladed jigs. Crappie are slow on minnows and jigs. White bass are good on slabs and minnows. Hybrid striper are good on slabs. Channel catfish are fair on trotlines. Use caution when navigating lake as rise in lake levels has lots of floating debris in lake.
CADDO: Water stained to muddy; 74-77 degrees; 2.80 feet high. Black bass are fair on square bill crankbaits, bladed jigs and spinnerbaits. White and yellow bass are good on slabs. Catfish are good on cut shad and prepared bait.
CEDAR CREEK: Water stained to muddy; 73-77 degrees; 0.18 feet high. Black bass are fair on Texas rigged soft plastics near docks and shallow cover. White bass are good on minnows. Hybrid striper are good on minnows. Crappie are good on jigs. Catfish are good on prepared bait.
COOPER: Water stained, 73-76 degrees: 2.52 feet high. No report available.
FAIRFIELD: Fishing has been slow since the fish kill in September of 2010. TPWD has discontinued stocking the lake after another kill in early September 2011. Redfish and black bass survived the kill in limited numbers.
FORK: Water lightly stained to stained; 74-77 degrees; 0.50 feet high. Black bass are fair on weightless Flukes and hollow body frog near flooded grass. Reaction Innovations Trixie Shark effective as well. White and yellow bass are slow on minnows. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs. Catfish are good on trotlines.

Everyone in a boat must have a Mexico fishing license (if fishing the Mexico side) whether fishing or not.
BRAUNIG: Water stained. Black bass are fair on crankbaits and Rat-L-Traps. Striped bass are excellent on liver and perch near Dead Tree Point, and down rigging spoons near the dam and jetty. Redfish are slow. Channel and blue catfish are good on shrimp, cheesebait, cut bait, and liver. Yellow catfish are slow.
CALAVERAS: Water stained. Black bass are fair on soft plastics and spinnerbaits. Striped bass are fair on spoons and striper jigs near the dam, and on chicken livers and shad near the dam and power lines. Redfish are slow. COASTAL
NORTH SABINE: Trout are fair to good under birds and pods of shad on soft plastics. Redfish are good in the marsh with the swollen tides.
SOUTH SABINE: Trout are fair to good under birds and pods of shad. Trout are good at the jetty on live bait and topwaters. Sheepshead are good on live shrimp tight to the rocks.
BOLIVAR: Trout are good on the south shoreline on topwaters and soft plastics. Trout, croaker, sand trout and redfish are good at Rollover Pass.
TRINITY BAY: Redfish are good on live bait around the reefs. The upper end of the bay is inundated with freshwater coming down the Trinity River.
EAST GALVESTON BAY: Trout are good for drifters working deep shell on limetreuse and plum plastics. Trout are good on topwaters on the south shoreline. Whiting and sand trout are good on the edge of the Intracoastal on fresh shrimp.
WEST GALVESTON BAY: Trout and redfish are fair to good on live bait over reefs and under birds. Sheepshead, redfish and black drum are good at the jetty on shrimp and crabs. Red snapper season open June 1.
TEXAS CITY: Trout are fair to good on April Fool’s Reef on live shrimp and croakers. Redfish are fair to good in Moses Lake on mullet and crabs.
FREEPORT: Trout are good at San Luis Pass on shrimp and MirrOlures. Sand trout, black drum and sheepshead are good on live shrimp on the reefs in Christmas Bay.
EAST MATAGORDA BAY: Trout are fair to good for drifters on live shrimp over humps and scattered shell. Redfish are fair to good on the reefs along the Intracoastal on shrimp and mullet.
WEST MATAGORDA BAY: Trout are good on sand and grass humps on soft plastics and topwaters. Redfish are good on topwaters and live shrimp in Oyster Lake.
PORT O’CONNOR: Trout and redfish are good on topwaters and live bait over sand, grass and shell in San Antonio Bay. Trout and redfish are fair for drifters working the back lakes with live shrimp.
ROCKPORT: Trout are fair to good in the guts and channels on free-lined shrimp. Trout are fair over grass while drifting with live shrimp. Redfish are good on mullet on the Estes Flats.
PORT ARANSAS: Trout, redfish and sheepshead are fair to good at the jetty on shrimp and croakers. Redfish are good on the flats on mullet. Red snapper season open June 1.
CORPUS CHRISTI: Trout are fair to good on the edge of the spoils on Gulps and live shrimp. Redfish are good in the potholes on shrimp.
BAFFIN BAY: Trout are good on topwaters around rocks and grass. Trout are good at night in the Land Cut on live shrimp. Redfish are good on the flats with higher tides on topwaters and gold spoons.
PORT MANSFIELD: Trout are good on topwaters around sand and grass. Redfish are fair to good while drifting pot holes with Gulps under a popping cork.
SOUTH PADRE: Trout and redfish are good in South Bay and while drifting flats with live shrimp and Gulps. Jack crevalle, redfish and trout are good at the jetty on live bait. Snook are fair to good the edge of the channel on DOA Shrimp.
PORT ISABEL: Trout and redfish are fair to good on the flats and Airport Cove on live shrimp. Trout are good on the deeper edges and flats in Laguna Vista on topwaters and live shrimp.
