DECATUR, Ga. (AP) - Three former DeKalb County Watershed employees have been sentenced for stealing overtime pay.

District Attorney’s officials say Cynthia Hall and Jarvis Foster were both given 15-year sentences with two to serve in custody. A third defendant, Anthony Lee, was also given a 15-year sentence with one to serve in custody.

Authorities say Hall was a payroll technician who directed fraudulent overtime pay to employees who never actually worked the hours. Prosecutors say Hall was given between $700 and $3,000 in bi-weekly kickbacks.

Prosecutors say the three must pay $20,000 in restitution and Hall repaid $15,000 before she pleaded guilty in the case.

District Attorney Robert James says the investigation is ongoing and authorities believe additional county employees may have benefited in the overtime theft scheme.
