DECATUR, Ala. (AP) - Four people charged in a killing in Decatur are now charged in a second slaying as well.

Police say 20-year-old Joseph Cowan and three teenagers are each charged with capital murder in the killing of 25-year-old Joshua Davis of Lacey’s Spring.

Davis was shot to death in a park on Saturday.

The four were previously charged in in the killing of another man who was shot to death in the carport of a home Friday night.

Authorities say the suspects also are believed to be involved in a series of holdups in which victims were chosen at random.

A sister of Joshua Davis says the arrests give her a little peace with his slaying.

A defense attorney didn’t immediately return a message seeking comment.
