RIVERTON, Wyo. (AP) - An autopsy found a Riverton man was intoxicated when he died in a motorcycle accident west of Riverton.

The Ranger in Riverton reports (https://bit.ly/1dlXoIc ) that 54-year-old Eiley R. Holliman had a blood-alcohol content of .188 when his 2007 Yamaha motorcycle left the paved portion of 8 Mile Road, slid sideways down the borrow ditch for more than 400 feet and crashing into a fence line on May 2.

He was thrown about 288 feet from the motorcycle after the bike left the roadway. He was not wearing a helmet.

He was found at about 5:52 a.m., hours after the 1 a.m. crash.

Holliman’s girlfriend had called law enforcement to report him missing when he failed to return home from town.
