BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) - The city of Buffalo is rolling ahead with plans to make the city more user-friendly for bicycle riders.

A final public meeting on the Citywide Bicycle Facility Master Plan is scheduled for Thursday evening at the Central Library.

Mayor Byron Brown and GObike Buffalo envision new bike paths, bike lanes, cycle tracks and neighborhood greenways meant to encourage bicycling in the city and make it safer.

Grant money from New York state is helping to fund the plans.
