SAN FRANCISCO (AP) - Authorities say a Northern California man has been arrested on suspicion of felony vehicular manslaughter and driving under the influence in a crash that killed his four passengers.

California Highway Patrol spokesman Herb Kellogg says Anthony James Imbronone III was arrested at his home in Gilroy on Thursday.

Three teenage girls and a 24-year-old man were killed last week when the car hit a canal bank and flipped in the air before landing on its roof and rolling about 20 feet to the bottom of a ravine. Imbronone was hospitalized with major injuries.

The San Francisco Chronicle reports (https://bit.ly/1KnPE5N) the 24-year-old Imbronone was booked into Santa Clara County Jail and is being held on $250,000 bail.
