LANSING, Mich. (AP) - The Michigan Film Office says $32.7 million in incentives have been approved.

The Detroit Free Press reports (https://on.freep.com/1IN5A0V ) information could come as early as next week about which projects are receiving money in the 2015 fiscal year.

The $32.7 million is a significant increase from the $1.3 million currently listed on the film office’s online dashboard, which only lists officially announced projects.

The state’s House, Senate and administration had disagreed throughout this year’s budget process about what amount of money to put toward film incentives.

On Wednesday, they agreed to fund the program at $25 million, down from the $50 million originally proposed by Gov. Rick Snyder. The House had wanted to defund the program entirely, while the Senate favored keeping some funding for it.
