LEVERETT, Mass. (AP) - Authorities say one of two motorcyclists injured in a three-vehicle accident in Leverett last weekend has died.

Mary Carey, a spokeswoman for the Northwestern district attorney’s office, confirmed the death Wednesday but did not release the victim’s name.

State police had previously said the motorcyclists were from Ludlow.

Police say two motorcycles and a station wagon were involved in the crash at about 6:30 p.m. Sunday.

Both motorcyclists were injured and taken to Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. The car driver was not hurt.
