MASON, Ohio (AP) - Visitors to a southwest Ohio theme park who want a break from roller coasters and other thrill rides can visit its new petting farm.
Kings Island plans to open Thursday its 60-animal attraction, “Snoopy’s Barnyard Friends.” The park says visitors can see educational shows and get close to animals including alpacas, miniature horses, pygmy goats and other farm animals.
Kings Island says the animals come from Honey Hill Farm, based in Berry, Kentucky.
The theme park in the northeast Cincinnati suburb of Mason is owned and operated by Cedar Fair Entertainment Co.
