Passenger on flight from Philadelphia dies

PHILADELPHIA (AP) - A passenger died after having a medical emergency on a flight from Philadelphia to Germany.

An American Airlines spokeswoman tells Philly.com (https://bit.ly/1c6QVzd ) Flight 700 diverted to Newfoundland after the passenger suffered a medical issue on Tuesday evening. The passenger, who was not identified, later died.

The other 205 passengers were placed in hotels before resuming their flight to Frankfurt on Wednesday.
