FAIRFIELD, Ohio (AP) - A man has died after a fiery crash in southwest Ohio.
The Cincinnati Enquirer reports (https://cin.ci/1EZjy8M ) a man was trying to pass a car illegally Tuesday night and collided with a Jeep in the oncoming lane.
Police say the car was traveling at a high speed and the crash sent it into a utility pole where it erupted in flames. Fire crews extinguished the fire, but the man died.
An autopsy is scheduled for Thursday. Police haven’t identified the victim.
The driver of the Jeep was taken to the hospital with injuries that aren’t life-threatening.
