CODY, Wyo. (AP) - Snow and rocks on the road have forced transportation officials to delay the opening of the Beartooth Highway, which connects Red Lodge and Cooke City, Montana, near the northern entrance to Yellowstone National Park.

Cody Beers, a spokesman for the Wyoming Department of Transportation, tells The Cody Enterprise (https://goo.gl/oPh9E8 ) that crews planned to open the highway at 8 a.m. Friday. The opening has been pushed back to later in the day, but Beers did not specify when.
