COTTER, Ark. (AP) - Arkansas’ U.S. Sens. John Boozman and Tom Cotton and Rep. Rick Crawford have announced two U.S. Department of Agriculture grants and one loan to three communities in northeast Arkansas.

The three said Thursday that Cotter and McCrory will receive USDA rural development grants and Brinkley will receive a rural development loan.

Cotter will receive a total of $8,800 to purchase a police vehicle and equipment while McCrory is being awarded $17,000 for a fire department vehicle and equipment.

Brinkley will receive a loan of more than $1.3 million to improve the city’s wastewater treatment plant.
