COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - A judge has sentenced an Ohio man to 95 years in prison in the kidnapping and torture of three people two years ago.

The Columbus Dispatch (https://bit.ly/1dnflpR ) reports that 31-year-old Obryan Jones was sentenced in Columbus on Thursday after a jury found him guilty earlier in the week of kidnapping, felonious assault, aggravated robbery and rape.

Three people testified during the trial that they were abducted at gunpoint by a group of men at Jones’ house when they went there to return a cellphone in July 2013. One victim says Jones tried to pull some of his teeth with a pair of locking pliers.

Jones argued that prosecutors had no physical evidence of the assaults and witnesses lied.

Two of Jones’ accomplices also have been sentenced to prison.
