GEORGETOWN, Colo. (AP) - Authorities say a Texas woman is dead after a rafting accident in Clear Creek just east of Idaho Springs.
The Clear Creek County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were called to the area off U.S. Highway 6 at about 11:30 a.m. Friday and found multiple people in the water. CPR was being performed on the victim, 47-year-old Michelle Math, of Wylie, Texas.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other information has been released.
