CLEVELAND (AP) - Police say two officers jumped into action after a car crashed and caught fire in Cleveland.
It happened just after 2 a.m. Thursday while Brian Crites and David Kelley were on patrol. Police say they found a 26-year-old man trapped in a car that crashed into a steel support of an overpass.
The officers rushed to the man’s side and were able to pry the vehicle’s door open and pull the man to safety. The driver was taken to a hospital.
