BETTENDORF, Iowa (AP) - A Bettendorf High School student has been arrested on suspicion of stabbing a fellow senior.
Iowa media outlets report an 18-year-old was arrested Wednesday and faces one felony count of willful injury in connection with the incident. He turned himself in to the Scott County Jail and posted $10,000 bond.
According to court documents, the suspect is accused of stabbing Jacob Woodard of Davenport multiple times in April. A police affidavit says Woodard sustained serious injuries and underwent surgery.
The suspect is scheduled to appear in court June 2.
