RIVERHEAD, N.Y. (AP) - A Long Island man faces up to 75 years to life in prison following his murder conviction for a 2010 shooting.
Suffolk County District Attorney Thomas Spota says Shawn Lawrence of Massapequa (mas-uh-PEEK’-wuh) will be sentenced on June 22.
He was convicted Thursday in the death of James Terry and the wounding of two other men.
Shots were fired into a van outside a housing complex in North Amityville.
Another defendant pleaded guilty to manslaughter last year.
