LAS VEGAS (AP) - According to an arrest report, Las Vegas police say the man they re-arrested after he escaped from officers was hiding a handcuff key in a body cavity.

KLAS-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1HyRTzq ) 30-year-old Nicholas Boland was arrested Wednesday in Las Vegas, because he was wanted in California in connection with a kidnapping case.

As officers began to take Boland to jail, police say he escaped on foot while the police car had been stopped in heavy traffic.

Officers searched for Boland for two hours. Authorities eventually found him hiding on top of a UNLV campus building roof.

Boland is now facing a felony escape charge, in addition to the kidnapping charge in California.
