TACOMA, Wash. (AP) - A Tacoma man has been sentenced to eight years in prison for prostituting two teenage girls online.
The News Tribune reports (https://bit.ly/1FIjuAY ) U.S. District Judge Benjamin Settle also ordered 31-year-old Clifton Eskridge III Thursday to serve 15 years of supervised release after his prison term. Eskridge must also register as a sex offender.
Eskridge pleaded guilty in July to possession of child pornography. He had originally been charged with commercial sex abuse of a minor.
Court records state that Eskridge brought two teen runaways, aged 15 and 16, from Spokane to Pierce County in March 2013. He made a sexually explicit video of the girls and advertised them on Backpage.com.
