CAVALIER, N.D. (AP) - Work is wrapping up on a $265,000 expansion to the visitor center at Icelandic State Park near Cavalier.

The Northeastern North Dakota Heritage Association says six years of planning and fundraising went into the project to expand interpretive exhibits.

The state Parks and Recreation Department says a ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled June 7.
