Ala. man dies after crashing motorcycle into tree

CHILDERSBURG, Ala. (AP) - Authorities say a motorcyclist who refused to pull over for a state trooper died after crashing into a tree.

Trooper Chuck Daniel said in a statement that authorities tried stopping 32-year-old Dexter Earl Green Friday evening near Childersburg and he refused to pull over.

Daniel says the man veered from the road, hit a tree and was pronounced dead on the scene.

Daniel says troopers are investigating the crash.
