JACKSON, Miss. (AP) - Mississippi environmental officials have lifted a water contact advisory for coastal Harrison County.

The advisory issued because of bacterial levels had been in effect for the Gulfport East Beach. It’s lifting on Saturday means there were no longer any monitored stations on the Mississippi Gulf Coast requiring an advisory.
