ST. JOHNSBURY, Vt. (AP) - Vermont State Police say the body of a St. Johnsbury woman missing since Thursday has been found.

Police say the body of 34-year-old Kimberly M. Willis was found about 11 a.m. Saturday about a quarter-mile from where her vehicle was found the day before parked near a street intersection in Albany, Vermont.

Willis was last seen about 4 p.m. Thursday and police considered her disappearance suspicious.

They say the body will be sent to the medical examiner in Burlington for autopsy to determine the cause of death.

Police say the preliminary investigation of the scene didn’t indicate any risk to the public.
