DICKINSON, N.D. (AP) - Police say the remains of a body found at a construction site in Dickinson may not be identified for four to six weeks.

An excavation crew uncovered the remains and some clothing Thursday at construction site in the northern part of town.

KXMB-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1IQBud0 ) Bureau of Criminal Investigation agents are working with Dickinson police to investigate the remains.

Police say the body was found in a crouched upright position near an underground utility pipeline.

The body was exhumed Friday night and was transported to the University of North Dakota for a forensic medical examination.
