SUWANEE, Ga. (AP) - Authorities in Forsyth County are investigating after a boater’s body was found in the Chattahoochee River.

WSB-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1Q4I6Dy) that crews found the body Saturday near the McGinnis Ferry bridge, northeast of Atlanta. The person’s identity was not immediately released.

Forsyth County sheriff’s officials say a preliminary investigation found that there were no signs of foul play, but the investigation into his death was continuing.

On Friday, Gwinnett County crews rescued a 61-year-old kayaker from the Chattahoochee in the Suwanee area. Authorities said his kayak flipped over, and he was rescued with no serious about a half-mile south of McGinnis Ferry Road.
