MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) - Police say a man was shot and killed while walking with his girlfriend in downtown Memphis.
The Commercial Appeal (https://bit.ly/1SxKiqZ ) reports the shooting occurred early Sunday.
Police say the victim got into an argument with two men. A witness says the argument apparently began when the men in the car tried to talk to the woman. Police say when the victim turned to walk away, the suspect in the passenger side of the vehicle fired several shots over the top of the car, striking the man.
The victim was taken to the Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
Police say the case is still under investigation.
