LONDONDERRY, N.H. (AP) - The wife of a New Hampshire motorcycle driver killed in a collision with a car in Londonderry says he was concerned about safety and was wearing his helmet at the time of the crash.

Misty Kjellman of Hudson says her 34-year-old husband, C.J. Kjellman, was riding to work when the crash occurred in Londonderry Friday morning.

She tells WMUR (https://bit.ly/1Erlq9G ) that she hopes her husband’s death will raise driver awareness of motorcyclists on the road, especially with the approach of Laconia Motorcycle Week.

Authorities say the driver of the Honda Accord was not injured in the crash and is cooperating fully in the investigation. They say that neither speed nor impairment appeared to be factors.

Kjellman, father of three, died at Elliot Hospital about an hour after the crash.
