AUBURN, Wash. (AP) - Two men are in custody after their car hit a Washington State Patrol car and a pick-up truck and engaged in a high-speed chase.

The state patrol says the suspects reached speeds of 85 miles an hour as they drove on State Route 167 and 516 in Auburn.

KIRO-TV reports the two bailed from the car and ran into the woods after hitting the WSP car and truck around 11 a.m. Monday. They were subsequently captured.

The patrol car suffered only minor damage.
