CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - There are 21 museums in New Hampshire offering free admission to military families from Memorial Day through Labor Day under the Blue Star Museums program.

The New Hampshire museums are among 2,000 nationwide taking part in the program.

The museums are the Moffett House Museum and Genealogy Center in Berlin; Canterbury Shaker Village; the American Independence Museum in Exeter; the Frank Pierce Homestead and Hillsborough Heritage Museum in Hillsborough; Squam Lakes Natural Science Center in Holderness; the Cheshire Children’s Museum in Keene; the Lake Winnipesaukee Museum in Laconia; the Aviation Museum of New Hampshire in Londonderry; the Currier Museum of Art and Millyard Museum in Manchester.

Also, the Castle in the Clouds in Moultonborough; the New London Historical Society and the Ice House Museum in New London; The Fells Historic Estate and Gardens in Newbury; the Museum of the White Mountains in Plymouth; the Seacoast Science Center in Rye; the Remick Country Doctor Museum and Farm in Tamworth; the Mt. Kearsarge Indian Museum in Warner; and the Wright Museum of World War II and New Hampshire Boat Museum in Wolfeboro.

The program is a collaboration among the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, the Department of Defense, and museums across America.
