MONTICELLO, Ky. (AP) - Kentucky State Police say three people were killed in a mobile home fire in Wayne County in southern Kentucky.

The Lexington Herald-Leader (https://bit.ly/1FaUPPV ) reports the victims in the predawn fire Sunday were a couple and their son.

Killed in the blaze at Ridgewood Trailer Court in Monticello were 66-year-old Hobert Piercy, 54-year-old Laurina Piercy and 36-year-old James Piercy. Monticello firefighters discovered the bodies after extinguishing the flames.

State police say the cause of the fire remains unknown, but foul play is not suspected.

Wayne County Coroner Forrest Hicks says no autopsies are planned because it appears the Piercys died of smoke inhalation. He says blood tests will be conducted.
