RIDGECREST, La. (AP) - Louisiana State Police say a 42-year-old Mississippi man died when his SUV ran off the road and hit several trees.
Master Trooper Daniel “Scott” Moreau says Robert Hargrave of Natchez died about 3:10 a.m. Sunday on U.S. Highway 84 in the town of Ridgecrest.
Ridgecrest is about three miles southeast of Ferriday in Concordia Parish.
Moreau says Hargrave was driving a 2011 Nissan Armada and was not wearing his seat belt.
Routine toxicology tests are pending. The cause remains under investigation.
