COLCHESTER, Vt. (AP) - The Vermont National Guard is remembering those who died in service.

Gov. Peter Shumlin and Adjutant General Steven Cray spoke at the event at Camp Johnson in Colchester last week. There was also a wreath-laying ceremony at the Vermont Fallen Heroes Memorial, cannon salutes and music by the 40th Army Band.

The event was attended by Guard members and their families.
