ELKINS, W.Va. (AP) - Authorities are investigating a house fire in Elkins that killed a woman.
Elkins Fire Chief Tom Meador tells WBOY-TV (https://bit.ly/1LyYNWp ) that the victim’s body was found in a second-story bedroom. He says the woman was in her early 30s.
Two other adults and a child were rescued from the porch roof by firefighters. Another man escaped the burning house on his own.
The fire occurred around 2 a.m. Monday.
