DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (AP) - Authorities say a vehicle rollover Monday afternoon near Ormond Beach left an Ocala woman dead and injured nine others, including seven children.

Multiple news sources report the accident happened on State Road 40 Monday afternoon, leaving the driver, 39-year-old Rosemary Davila, dead. Florida Highway Patrol Trooper Wanda Diaz says the right rear tire separated on the SUV, causing it to move into the center median and overturn in the westbound lanes.

The children, ranging from 9 months old to 9 years old, were all taken to Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children and most of them are in serious condition. 25-year-old Stephanie Roman was listed in serious condition at Central Florida Regional Hospital and 24-year-old Michael Roman was listed in critical condition at Halifax Health.
