JAMESTOWN, N.D. (AP) - Authorities say a former employee of a Jamestown gas station and convenience store is suspected of robbing it.

KQDJ radio reports the man and his roommate are being held at the Stutsman County jail awaiting charges.

Authorities say the business was robbed early Monday morning.

Authorities say a clerk reported that a man entered the store and took an undisclosed amount of cash from a safe and fled. No weapons were involved.

Investigators reviewed surveillance footage with the manager and identified the suspect as a former employee. Police went to the apartment of the former employee and his roommate, who also is a former employee.

Police say they found stolen cash at the apartment.
